Brazilian delegation visits Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai, Governor of the Brazilian province of Mato Grosso, Mauro Mendes, accompanied by a Brazilian trade delegation, visited the Syrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai on Thursday.

Members of the delegation toured the pavilion’s various sections, accompanied by Ghassan Abbas, Commissioner-General of the Syrian Pavilion, and Eng. Khaled Al-Shama’a, director of the pavilion, inspecting different artistic and cultural exhibits.

The Brazilian delegation showed great interest in the collective art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title “I am the Syrian” and also visited the commercial section, where Manaf Arnous, the section’s coordinator, presented an idea about the potentials of cooperation through holding meetings between companies of the two countries, especially those participating in the pavilion’s activities, which offer the Syrian product and commercial opportunities.

Mendes admired the view of the Syrian pavilion on the history, ancient civilization, vision and movement towards the future, which reflects the cultural identity of the Syrian people.
