Burundi Foreign Minister Invites Saudis to Explore Investment Opportunities

Burundian Foreign Minister Albert Shingiro today extended an invitation to Saudi investors, offering special benefits and incentives for those willing to invest in his country. The invitation came during his meeting with Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) chairman Hassan bin Moejeb Al-Huwaizi, where both sides explored opportunities for trade and investment partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Burundi. During the meeting, Al-Huwaizi announced plans for the FSC to organize a delegation trip to Burundi soon to further assess available investment opportunities for the Saudi business community. The discussions also focused on enhancing Saudi participation in the Round Table Forum, scheduled to take place in Bujumbura in December, where both public and private sectors will be involved in promoting bilateral trade and investment. The meeting highlighted key sectors for investment in Burundi, including health, tourism, agriculture, communications, technology, and infrastructure, presenting promising opportunities for Saudi investors to engage in these growing industries.
