Dubai: Calidus Holding Group, a leading defence and manufacturing company, is participating in the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, held from 17-21 November at Dubai World Central (DWC). The group aims to highlight its latest innovations and advanced defence solutions, emphasizing its commitment to bolstering its global standing in the defence industry.
According to Emirates News Agency, Calidus is showcasing a range of cutting-edge technologies, including the Badr-250 (B-250) light attack aircraft, the B-250T trainer aircraft, the 8×8 Light Infantry Fighting Vehicle (LIFV) – Air Defence variant, and the ‘AlHeda’ missile system. Additionally, the group is unveiling the advanced short-range air defence system, ‘AlDeraa’, for the first time. This system is designed to counter various aerial threats, including unmanned aerial vehicles, reinforcing Calidus’s leadership in developing integrated protection solutions.
Tareq Abdul Rahim Al Hosani, Chairman of Calidus Holding Group, expressed that their participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025 represents a strategic milestone, reflecting the progress of the national defence industry. He emphasized the group’s ability to leverage local investment, technological innovation, and industrial integration to deliver solutions designed and produced in the UAE. Al Hosani stated that their offerings at the airshow demonstrate Calidus’s capacity to drive transformation in the defence sector.

He noted that the airshow serves as a strategic platform to showcase national innovations, build partnerships, and enhance the UAE’s global industrial position.
