Calidus Showcases Latest Locally Developed, Manufactured Defence Products at UMEX and SimTEX 2026

Abu dhabi: Calidus Holding Group, a prominent player in the defence and manufacturing sector, is showcasing its latest innovative and locally developed products at the seventh edition of UMEX and SimTEX 2026. Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in association with the Ministry of Defence, the exhibitions are being held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 20th to 22nd January 2026.

According to Emirates News Agency, UMEX and SimTEX 2026 are recognized as significant international platforms dedicated to unmanned systems, simulation and training technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence. These events play a crucial role in reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a global hub for smart defence technologies and digital transformation, aligning with the UAE's vision to embrace advanced robotics and simulation solutions.

Calidus is presenting its newest solutions designed to address the demands of contemporary missions, focusing on platform integration and improved operational readiness. The company will also demonstrate its engineering development capabilities, systems integration, and manufacturing to advanced operational standards, which support enhanced responsiveness and quicker decision-making in dynamic operational environments.

During the event, Calidus will showcase the new B-100 aircraft, the 'AlDeraa' integrated counter-UAS air-defence system, the MCAV multi-mission combat vehicle, among other systems. This reflects the strong momentum propelling the UAE's defence and broader industrial sectors.

The participation also includes meetings with local and international partners and end-users to explore opportunities for industrial cooperation and expanded partnerships. This aligns with national priorities for technology localisation, knowledge transfer, enhanced local content, and the development of national talent, contributing to a more integrated, sustainable, advanced, and competitive defence manufacturing ecosystem on both regional and global scales.
