CEO of Royal Commission for Jubail Meets with Chinese Ambassador in Saudi Arabia

Dammam, CEO of Royal Commission for Jubail Dr. Ahmed Zaid Al Hussain, at the visitor center today, received Chinese Ambassador Chen Weiqing and his accompanying delegation to get acquainted with the economic and industrial achievements and the ideal story of establishing the Jubail Industrial City and the top promising investment opportunities in the city.

The Chinese ambassador stressed his endeavors to exert efforts to acquaint Chinese investors and businesspeople with the ambitious vision of the Jubail Industrial City to attract and boost investment and cooperation between the two sides in the future, noting that China has a strong will – whether at the political, economic or commercial level – to enhance cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said: “There was a communication yesterday between the Chinese President and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, where there are joint points of view and important plans to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and industry, in addition to investment, and we will implement the directives of the two leaderships to realize joint integration, harmony, interest and vision for the two countries.”

The investment development sector at the commission delivered a presentation on the top available investment opportunities and the stimulus environment, as well as a general briefing on the Chinese investments in the Jubail Industrial City.

Later on, the Chinese ambassador and his accompanying delegation toured the visitor center and saw the inspiring creative story for the establishment of the Jubail Industrial City and the distinguished investment ideology that made it be a source of attraction for local and foreign investment, in addition to the distinguished infrastructure that provided a proper investment climate for investors, and the top success elements in the city, such as the important location and geographical area and the diversity of industries and projects.

He also checked on a model for the new economic center at the city and what it contains of centers and basic elements for the industrial, educational and commercial life, in addition to its attractive design that simulates a modern touch in the field of architecture and its seaside view and contents of progress and development in all provided services. He also listened to a detailed briefing on Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and future expansion plans, where the city is full of factories of Maaden Company, such as the phosphate factory and industries related to the aluminum and transformative industries in this promising city.
