Riyadh, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad received here today Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Iraq Basem Khalil Al-Salem, accompanied by CEO of the Iraqi bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng. Yazeed Abdulaziz Abunayyan.
During the meeting, they discussed topics of common development interest and the financing line previously signed in May 2021 between the SFD and the National Bank of Iraq to finance Saudi exports to Iraq.
It is reported that the entire amount of the financing line, estimated at $ ten million, has been invested for the agreement signed with the National Bank of Iraq, which contributed to strengthening trade relations between the two brotherly countries through the export of Saudi products, including food stuff, glass and plastic industries, and medical supplies.
