Chairman of World Muslim Communities Council meets member of Standing Committee of CPC Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Committee


ABU DHABI: The Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council, Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, met with a Chinese delegation led by Ilzat Ahmatjan, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Committee, at the Council’s HQ in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two sides explored ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in key areas of common interest. They engaged in productive discussions on tackling challenges faced by Muslim communities, including strategies to combat hate speech and extremism.

They stressed the critical role of promoting respect for the rule of law, active citizenship, and social integration, alongside embracing religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity. They emphasised that upholding these values fosters shared prosperity and security, paving the way for stronger cooperation and solidarity among all communities around the world.

The meeting addressed the development of scientific, academic, economic, and training initiatives tailored to the specific needs of Muslim
communities worldwide. These programs will aim to combat extremism and hate speech while empowering Muslims to play a positive role in their societies.
