The Undersecretary of Hajjah province, Chairman of the Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, Ibrahim Amer, inspected the interventions of the Social Fund for Development in the agricultural sector in Abs District. Where he reviewed projects to rehabilitate several agricultural components in the Bani al-Mishta watershed and its shops in Bani Thawab district, improve the efficiency of stream irrigation and the entrances to 'Manaseh' irrigation canals in several villages in the district, and establish Al-Aqidah canal on Wadi al-Ain in the village of Salhaba in Batariya district. Undersecretary Amer pointed out the importance of these interventions in supporting and encouraging farmers' efforts and improving the agricultural sector in the district, stressing interest in the agricultural sector in areas famous for grain cultivation , keenness to achieve self-sufficiency and enhance food security , factors of resilience and stability, especially in light of the current circumstances that the country is going thr ough.
