Coding Service Protects Luggage of Pilgrims of Cote d’Ivoire

The Ministry of Interior’s Makkah Route Initiative in Côte d’Ivoire continues to provide essential services to pilgrims.

Among these services is a dedicated coding service that ensures luggage delivery to each pilgrim’s residence while streamlining and facilitating travel procedures from the country’s airport.

The officer responsible for baggage coding for pilgrims from Cote d’Ivoire, Rubaie Al-Qahtani, highlighted the meticulous process undertaken by a specialized team. The team carefully sorts the luggage and affixes a sticker on each item, which includes flight details and information about the respective pilgrims and their places of residence. Pilgrims are provided with a card that contains the same information as on their luggage.

Additionally, the team ensures that pilgrims’ luggage is properly sorted at their country’s airports, guaranteeing its timely arrival at their designated residences.
