Committee on Combating Drug Crimes reviews observations related to amendments to Anti-Drug Law

The Subcommittee on Combating Drug Crimes held a meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Deputy Minister of Justice - Member of the Main Committee for the Preparation of the Anti-Drug Matrix, Dr. Ismail Al-Wazir. The meeting, which included members of the committee at the General Directorate of Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior, representatives of the Ministries of Health (Supreme Authority for Medicines) and Agriculture and Irrigation, and specialists at the Ministry of Justice, reviewed the two memoranda of the Ministry of Interior on the observations related to the consensus matrix on amendments to the Anti-Drug Law. The meeting agreed to submit the results of the work of the Subcommittee to the Main Committee for the preparation of the anti-drug matrix and to provide the concerned authorities in the Committee with copies thereof.
