The counter-flood joint operation room on Saturday continued meetings, chaired by deputy prime minister, in Sana'a to be acquainted with latest developments in provinces and districts affected by floods. The room was briefed on progress made in delivering relief supplies and funds to families and reopening the roads blocked by recent floods in the two districts of Malhan (in Mahweet) and Lower Wosab (in Dhamar) and other affected areas in Hodeida. The room has coordinative role, deputy PM and local administration minister, Mohamed al-Madani, said, noting that local authorities and communities are tasked with implementation, in cooperation with all the relevant authorities.
