Croatian Prime Minister Receives Islamic Affairs Minister

Zagreb, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, at the Presidential palace in Zagreb, today received Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, who is currently visiting Croatia to sign a memorandum of understanding in Islamic fields.

The meeting went over means to enhance cooperation in various fields, mainly in issues related to serving Croatian Muslims.

Following the meeting, Plenkovic and Dr. Al Al-Sheikh held a press conference, where the Croatian Prime Minister expressed gratitude for leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support to Croatia and other countries in addition to its relentless efforts in spreading peace and harmony among all peoples and promoting modernity, praising the visit of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance to enhance cooperation in a way that serves Islamic fields and issues.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance commended the role of Croatia in serving Islam and Muslims, referring to the constructive cooperation between the two countries in this field.

Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Non-resident Ambassador to Serbia and Croatia Osamah Al-Ahmadi and several officials from both sides attended the meeting.
