New delhi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has met with Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, to discuss the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for partnership across vital sectors. The meeting was held at Hyderabad House in New Delhi during a reception hosted by the Indian Prime Minister on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit.
According to Emirates News Agency, Narendra Modi welcomed H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, emphasizing the depth of the UAE-India relationship in various areas of mutual interest. H.H. Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Modi, wishing him good health and prosperity for India and its people. He also appreciated the warm hospitality extended to the UAE delegation.
The discussions focused on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and the continued growth of bilateral ties across multiple fields. Both leaders shared their commitment to strengthening cooperation, supporting development partnerships, and expanding horizons to fulfill the aspirations of both countries' leaderships. They exchanged views on topics of mutual interest, reinforcing their vision for greater prosperity and wellbeing for their peoples.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from the UAE, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Reem Al Hashimy, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, and others, highlighting the importance of this engagement in advancing the UAE-India partnership.
