Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Engages in Talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister at G20 Summit

Johannesburg: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has met with Dr Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, at the G20 summit taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa. During their meeting, they explored opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Ethiopia and reviewed key items on this year's G20 summit agenda.

According to Emirates News Agency, both leaders stressed the importance of ongoing coordination among all parties to ensure the successful implementation of the summit's outcomes. They also highlighted the need to support global sustainable development goals. The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to work collaboratively in achieving mutual interests and contributing to international development.

The meeting was attended by notable officials including Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince; and Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Chairperson of Abu Dhabi Media Office and Advisor of Strategic Relations at the Crown Prince Court.
