The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST), in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), has launched the 'Competition on Non-Terrestrial Networks for 6G' International Research Competition. This initiative aims to provide innovative solutions for 6G non-terrestrial networks (NTN), promoting research and innovation in NTN and telecommunications. CST, in a press release issued today, encouraged researchers to register via the link: https://connectingfromtheskies.com/IEEE-Competition. The submission of scientific and research papers will be open until September 15, 2024, in accordance with the conditions listed on the competition's website. The submitted papers will be evaluated, and the top 10 ideas will be invited to participate in the 'Connecting the World from the Skies' forum, which will be held in Riyadh on November 25-26, 2024. At the forum, these ideas will undergo final assessment to determine the three winners. Source: Saudi Press Agency
