Riyadh, Culture ministry’s various bodies are gearing up to participate in the 2021 edition of Artigiano in Fiera, one of the world’s largest international consumer fairs dedicated to crafts, which will be held in Milan, Italy, from December 4 to 12, under the supervision of the Heritage Commission represented by the handicrafts sector, through a large pavilion that includes a diverse cultural content to reflect the richness of Saudi culture and identity, through displays of handicrafts, performing arts, and traditional culinary arts from different regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Heritage Commission seeks through its participation to highlight the original Saudi culture and promote it internationally, as well as shed light on Saudi crafts and craftsmen and their creativity, and provide support and empowerment to them through participation in international exhibitions and festivals, and exchange expertise with the participating countries, and highlight the Saudi heritage crafts registered in UNESCO.
