Deaf Care & Rehabilitation Association Celebrates International Day

Sana'a (Saba) - The Deaf and Mute Care and Rehabilitation Association celebrated the International Day of Sign Languages, which falls on September 23, coinciding with the International Week of the Deaf 2 3-30 September of each year, under the slogan "Together to Promote Sign Language and the Linguistic Identity of the Deaf". During the celebration, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, stressed the importance of celebrating sign language, which is a means of communication with others for millions of people around the world. He pointed out the importance of celebrating this day in conjunction with Yemen's celebration of the tenth anniversary of the glorious September 21 Revolution. Source: Yemen News Agency
