Diamond League Athletics Announces Increase in Prize Money

The organizers of the Diamond League Athletics has announced an increase in the prize money for athletes to record levels, starting from the next season 2025. The organizers said in a statement Wednesday that the total new prize money will amount to $9.24 million, which is about a third higher than the period between 2021-2024 during the Covid-19 pandemic. They added that the winners of each competition will receive between $30,000 and $100,000 in each round of the Diamond League during the 2025 season.
