A meeting in Amran province today, Sunday, which included Shura Council member Saleh Al-Zakari and province Undersecretary Muhammad Al-Mutawakkil, discussed ways to address societal issues in Jabal Ayal Yazid and Al-Souda districts.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of sheikhs from the two directorates, touched on aspects related to resolving outstanding societal issues, especially murder cases, including the case of the killing of citizen Saleh Mohsen al-Ham 20 years ago.
In the meeting, Shura Council member Al-Zaqari and province Undersecretary Al-Mutawakkil stressed the necessity of resolving controversial and societal issues, especially issues that have passed for years, in accordance with Sharia and law.
They stressed the importance of everyone feeling responsible for the aggression and siege the country is being exposed to, and the efforts required by this stage to confront the aggression and thwart its plans.
Al-Mutawakkil pointed out the role relied on by social figures and notables in J
abal Ayal Yazid and Al-Souda districts in maintaining security, stability and social peace, addressing societal issues and reconciling relationships.
