A meeting in the capital secretariat today, Wednesday, headed by the advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council, Allama Muhammad Muftah, discussed the completion of the expansion of the central Azraqain dump, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council. The meeting, which included the Deputy Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, the Mayor of the Capital, Hammoud Abbad, and the President of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Al-Mansour, reviewed the general plan and air projection of the land allocated for the expansion of the dump, and the procedures for handing it over to the Capital Secretariat. At the meeting, the general plan for the land that will be handed over to the Municipality's Cleaning Fund to implement the expansion of the landfill was signed, which will contribute to addressing problems, absorbing waste, and reducing environmental damage. It was agreed to form a joint committee from the General Land Authority, the Capital Secretariat, and security to go out on the field to receive the designated land in reality next week.
