A meeting was held today in the Sana'a governorate, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani. The meeting discussed the working mechanism of the agricultural expansion project and emergency agriculture in the governorate. The meeting focused on expanding cereal and legume cultivation, according to data from farmers who own an irrigation source. The meeting stressed the importance of motivating citizens to cultivate solid lands, expand the production of agricultural seeds in fertile lands, and prepare, synchronize and follow up agricultural plans at the level of each district. They stressed the need to pay attention to the agricultural seasons, prepare for them well and exploit them, and evaluate the start and end phase. Source: Yemen News Agency
