Discussing performance and achievement level in Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Sa’ada


The Board of Directors of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Sa’ada province, headed by the Governor and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Muhammad Jaber Awad, discussed the level of performance and achievements achieved by the Fund in the province.

The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the province’s local district, Muhammad Al-Imad, the province’s undersecretary for environmental affairs and improvement, Muhammad Al-Baadani, and for services affairs, Saleh Aqab, reviewed the cleanliness and improvement campaigns that had been accomplished in the city, as well as the necessity of maintaining the level of cleanliness that was achieved during this period.

Sa’ada Governor stressed the importance of carrying out afforestation work this year, and exploiting it to plant the central islands of the main streets, clean them, and to follow up on cleaning work and improve the general appearance of the city’s streets.

Governor Awad pointed out the importance of preparing a hygiene plan durin
g the holy month of Ramadan, as well as implementing the Ramadan program for sanitation workers.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Fund, Najeeb Al-Saadi, stressed the importance of concerted efforts in the hygiene sector, reviewing the progress of the field work of the Cleaning Fund.

He explained that some areas where garbage accumulates and cleaners do not reach them are due to scarcity of capabilities, stressing that efforts are being made to improve the work of the Fund according to the available capabilities.
