Discussing strengthening coordination to develop work in geology and minerals activity in Hodeida


Hodeida Governor , Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, discussed with the Vice President of the General Authority for Geological Survey and Mineral Resources, Bakil Rassam, aspects related to enhancing work in minerals and geology activity.

The meeting discussed proposals to open the door to mineral investment and develop economic growth in the field of mineral ores, and the facilities that can be provided to investors within the framework of the legal systems contained in the Mines , Quarries Law and its executive regulations.

Qahim pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of geological research and development, updating the geological data map of the targeted sites and possible measures to increase discovery opportunities in accordance with laws and regulations.

While the Vice Chairman of the Authority praised the efforts of the leadership of the local authority in Hodeida and its support for the authority’s branch in the province and enabling it to carry out its activities and overcome o
bstacles, pointing to the laws , procedures regulating mining investment, assessing the challenges, opportunities facing emerging investments and the procedures they need.
