Brussels, President of Human Rights Commission Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, met with the EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore, as part of the meetings accompanying the joint dialogue between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and EU in the field of human rights, at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Awwad reviewed the most prominent human rights reforms and developments have been achieved in the Kingdom, adding that this dialogue represents a valuable opportunity to learn about the experiences of the two sides in the field of human rights.
Gilmore valued the Kingdom’s participation in this dialogue, noting its importance for exchanging views in human rights field.
