Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has supported the expansion of AfroVision Technologies, a Dubai-based IT firm, into Ghana. Dubai International Chamber's representative office in Ghana facilitated this expansion by connecting AfroVision Technologies with On-Point Virtual Assistants, a Ghanaian business process outsourcing company. This collaborative effort resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement designates On-Point Virtual Assistants to represent the 'Doballi' platform in Ghana. Doballi, a platform operated by the Dubai-registered company of the same name and a subsidiary of AfroVision Technologies, focuses on connecting tech talent with remote job opportunities. The agreement includes delivering training courses to IT students in Ghana, equipping them with skills for remote work, and enrolling them on the Doballi platform for remote employment opportunities.
Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, commented on the partnership, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the establishment of promising partnerships between Dubai-based companies and global counterparts. He noted that such efforts drive sustainable business growth and enhance the competitiveness of Dubai's private sector.
Osita Oparaugo, Founder of Doballi, expressed gratitude to the Dubai International Chamber office in Ghana for their support in advancing Doballi's mission to connect African tech professionals with global opportunities. He highlighted the strategic focus on Dubai and the company's commitment to innovation and opportunity through collaboration, as demonstrated by the recently signed MoU with On-Point BPO and other ongoing partnerships.
