Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, functioning under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has finalised preparations for an upcoming trade mission to the Philippines and Thailand scheduled from 26th to 30th May. This mission is a part of the 'New Horizons' initiative aimed at aiding local companies in expanding into promising global markets.
According to Emirates News Agency, the chamber recently hosted a virtual briefing session for members of the trade mission. The delegation includes representatives from a range of Dubai-based companies in sectors such as food and beverages, human resources, the automotive trade, hospitality, industrial oils, agriculture, electronics, and investment. During the session, participants were informed about the mission's programme, which includes meetings and bilateral business matchmaking sessions with companies in the Philippines and Thailand. These sessions are designed to explore collaboration opportunities, align interests, and identify potential growth areas.
Additionally, attendees received insights into the economic landscape and market dynamics of the Philippines and Thailand. The 'New Horizons' initiative plays a crucial role in the chamber's efforts to promote the global expansion of Dubai-based companies, enabling them to capitalise on opportunities in new international markets. This initiative is aligned with the "Dubai Global" initiative's goal of helping local companies explore new business prospects across 30 priority markets worldwide.
