Dubai Gold Designers Business Group Unveils Global Expansion Strategy

Dubai:The Dubai Gold Designers Business Group, part of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, has announced a new strategic plan aimed at expanding the global market access for jewellery designers based in Dubai. This strategy focuses on enhancing international market access, professional capabilities, and the global visibility of local jewellery designers and entrepreneurs.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Group, representing 50 members from the jewellery design and entrepreneurship sectors, seeks to transform creative talent into sustainable commercial growth through education, business development, industry partnerships, and increased exposure both locally and internationally.

The strategy aims to maintain the individual identity and commercial independence of its members while bolstering a collective platform for Dubai-based jewellery businesses to seize international opportunities. A major goal is to strengthen the international presence of Dubai's jewellery design community through strategic participation in exhibitions, trade events, and professional platforms in key markets.

The Group's international efforts will focus on achieving measurable commercial outcomes, such as connections with qualified buyers, retailers, and distributors, as well as export opportunities, media exposure, and long-term partnerships. A proposed three-year International Representation Programme will be introduced to promote Dubai-based jewellery businesses globally, with the first year dedicated to establishing the model, followed by expansion and evaluation phases.

The strategy revolves around three main pillars: education and member development, business development and partnerships, and international representation and visibility. The Group plans to offer workshops, masterclasses, and professional development opportunities, alongside facilitating business matchmaking and strategic collaborations.

Building on previous international engagements, the strategy will evaluate international initiatives through commercial and reputational indicators, including meetings with qualified buyers, business leads, export opportunities, and media exposure. This approach not only tracks participation but also the tangible business opportunities created for members.

Maha Al Sibai, Chairwoman of the Dubai Gold Designers Business Group, emphasized the ambition to create pathways between Dubai's jewellery design community and international markets, aiming to enhance access to relationships, knowledge, and platforms for sustainable growth. The strategy also aims to support emerging talent in gaining industry knowledge and building international business networks.

Operating under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Group supports jewellery designers and entrepreneurs through collaboration, education, and market access, with a long-term objective to elevate the global visibility of Dubai's jewellery design ecosystem.
