Dubai:The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) has launched the Dubai Leadership Coach initiative, an AI-powered project designed to bring the leadership approach of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to Dubai Government employees. This initiative was unveiled in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee.
According to Emirates News Agency, the project aims to transform leadership knowledge into an interactive experience that is accessible to employees whenever and wherever they need it. It builds on the leadership philosophy of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which emphasizes ambition, swift execution, opportunity creation, people empowerment, turning challenges into development drivers, and actively shaping the future.
The launch took place during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, a premier annual gathering for management and leadership organized by MBRCLD. The forum gathered 1,000 leaders from Dubai's government and private sectors to discuss management and leadership transformation, establish best practices, and realize Sheikh Mohammed's vision of reinforcing Dubai's global standing in excellence and innovation.
Dubai Leadership Coach provides an interactive coaching platform that enables government employees to discuss real-life scenarios they face at work, such as team management and decision-making. The platform uses a web browser, eliminating the need for special software or dedicated devices, and is designed to resemble human coaching sessions.
The coach's knowledge base includes insights from approximately 50,000 books on leadership and management, plus nearly 100,000 biographies of global leaders and figures. This vast resource helps the platform provide guidance grounded in reliable leadership principles, with content aligned to the standards of the International Coaching Federation.
Utilizing realistic digital avatar technology, the platform features animated avatars that closely mimic human presence, ensuring a natural user experience. The platform underwent rigorous testing and comparisons with other AI models to ensure high-quality performance and safety, with safeguards in place to protect digital character identities and content accuracy.
This initiative marks a significant advancement in leadership development by broadening access from limited training programs to a comprehensive experience available to all Dubai Government employees. By integrating Sheikh Mohammed's leadership approach with global leadership knowledge and cutting-edge AI technology, the Dubai Leadership Coach aims to make leadership learning a continuous part of the working day, transforming everyday situations into leadership development opportunities.
