An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Aceh province in Indonesia.
A statement from the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said on Monday that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 63 km from Meulaboh district in the province, at a depth of 27 km.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
Last Monday, a 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesias easternmost province of Papua, at a depth of 13 kilometers.
Indonesia is regularly exposed to earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire where many tectonic plates meet and cause frequent volcanic and seismic activity.
