Egypt condemns Israeli army attack on UNRWA relief convoy to Gaza

CAIRO: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt condemned on Monday the Sunday attack of Israeli forces on a relief convoy of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza, describing the act as another chapter in the daily violations of international humanitarian law by Israel. 'The targeting and obstruction of humanitarian aid further exacerbates [sic] the humanitarian disaster faced by the Palestinian people,' Ahram Online quoted Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesperson of the foreign affairs ministry, as saying in a short statement posted on the social media network, X (previously Twitter).
