Egypt offered deep condolences to Senegal over victims of a fire that erupted Wednesday in a hospital in the western city of Tivaouane causing the death of 11 newborn babies.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry Thursday 26/2/2022, said that Egypt voices its sincere condolences to the Senegalese government, people and the families of the victims.

“Egypt stands in full solidarity with Senegal during this painful tragedy,” the statement read.
