Cairo: Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, engaged in a telephone discussion with Bassam Sabbagh, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, focusing on recent developments in northern Syria, specifically in Idlib and Aleppo. According to Emirates News Agency, Abdelatty was briefed by his Syrian counterpart, Sabbagh, on the latest consecutive developments occurring in Syria. Abdelatty expressed significant concern over these developments and reiterated Egypt's commitment to supporting the Syrian state and its national institutions.
