Egyptian President Reaffirms Commitment to Arab Gulf Security

Abu Dhabi:Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the importance of supporting and safeguarding the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states as a core element of Egypt's foreign policy. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining freedom of navigation in maritime corridors in line with international law during a government meeting.

According to Emirates News Agency, President El-Sisi stated that the Egyptian state is actively working to de-escalate regional tensions and prevent the resurgence of conflicts.

He reiterated Egypt's strategic commitment to peace, underscoring that the Palestinian issue remains central to achieving stability in the Middle East. El-Sisi pointed out that unresolved Palestinian matters contribute to regional instability and that a two-state solution is essential for enduring peace and stability.
