Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the official dates for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday for the federal government sector. The holiday will commence on 1st Shawwal 1446 AH and will continue until 3rd Shawwal, with employees expected to return to work on 4th Shawwal.
According to Emirates News Agency, if the Holy Month of Ramadan extends to 30 days, the 30th of Ramadan will be included as an additional public holiday. This extension would provide a longer break for the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations.
