The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the security force has completed receiving its assignment for the parliamentary elections and has commenced deployment throughout the governorates, securing voting booths and their surroundings, and distributing security forces to assignment areas. The PSD confirmed that its officers in civil defense, gendarmerie, police, security, and traffic patrols are at the highest levels of readiness, working in civil and military uniforms. The PSD stated that the security force will work to enhance security and fairly enforce the law, particularly in terms of providing a safe umbrella for elections and preventing any wrong manifestations or practices that endanger citizens' security and safety, such as firing firearms and obstructive processions.
