Emirates Businesswomen Council and Opora Russia Collaborate on Women’s Economic Empowerment

St. petersburg: The Emirates Businesswomen Council and the Opora Russia organisation have signed a memorandum of cooperation during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia. The agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation in entrepreneurship, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and promoting women's economic empowerment.

According to Emirates News Agency, the signing was attended by key figures including Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism; Dr. Mohamed Ahmad Sultan Essa Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Russia; and Alexander Kalinin, President of the Opora Russia organisation. Both parties emphasized that the memorandum is a crucial step towards strengthening economic partnerships, expanding cooperation opportunities for supporting women entrepreneurs, and exchanging expertise in line with sustainable development goals.
