Dubai: The 8th Emirates Dermatology Society Annual Conference 2024, organized by the Emirates Dermatology Society, is set to commence on November 8th at the InterContinental Dubai – Festival City Hotel. The three-day event will bring together 500 doctors, including leading experts and specialists in dermatology, cosmetology, and laser treatment from various countries.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Muna Al Murrawi, President of the Emirates Dermatology Society and Chair of the Conference, stated that the conference will feature over 85 expert talks focusing on dermatology and aesthetics. The scientific program includes workshops that will delve into significant dermatological and aesthetic diseases and their treatment methods.
Dr. Al Murrawi also mentioned that topics such as hair and nail disorders, acne, skin cancer, women’s health in dermatology, and the latest scientific advancements in hair transplantation, skin tumors, and laser treatments would be covered. These discussions aim to address sk
in conditions including skin pigmentation, melisma, burn effects, birthmarks, varicose veins, tattoos, psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and various fungi.
The conference, described as the largest of its kind in the Middle East, aims to enhance awareness and enable the local medical community to access the latest international medical practices supported by scientific evidence. Additionally, it seeks to highlight key success stories in the field.
An accompanying exhibition will feature over 29 local and international companies showcasing the latest technologies and devices for diagnosing and treating skin diseases, laser treatment techniques, and cosmetic treatments. Esteemed speakers from the USA, UK, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the UAE will be part of the event.
