Emirates Red Crescent’s Sacrificial Meat Project Reaches Over Half a Million Worldwide

Abu dhabi: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) announced that its sacrificial meat and Eid clothing project benefited 50,000 people across the UAE during Eid Al-Adha. This initiative extended its support to more than 500,000 beneficiaries in 45 countries globally.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ERC successfully distributed sacrificial meat to beneficiaries across all emirates. Volunteer teams worked diligently throughout the Eid holiday to ensure the meat reached recipients directly at their locations.

In its international efforts, the ERC implemented the project amid challenging humanitarian conditions such as economic hardship, ongoing crises, natural disasters, food shortages, and rising prices. The organization highlighted that these growing humanitarian needs prompted an expansion of the project's beneficiary base beyond the UAE.

The ERC expressed gratitude towards the donors and benefactors whose support facilitated the campaign's success. Their contributions enabled the initiative to reach a larger audience and increase the number of beneficiaries worldwide.
