The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture announced today the launch of four new investment bids aimed at establishing integrated agricultural cities in the Makkah Region. These projects include vegetable and crop production, fruit tree cultivation, and the establishment of a specialized lab for planting wild seedlings. This initiative aligns with the ministry's goals and strategies, focusing on enhancing food security, supporting sustainable development, and boosting the agricultural sector into an economic contributor that helps diversify revenue sources and achieve self-sufficiency in agricultural products while preserving natural resources for future generations. The ministry stated that interested parties can apply for these investment opportunities and obtain the terms of reference through the Furas platform or by contacting [email protected] for more details. The deadline for receiving and opening bids for these investment opportunities is October 1. The ministry urges investors to take advantage of these opportunities to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in the Kingdom, achieve sustainable development, and boost the national economy in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
