Kyiv:The Russia-Ukraine conflict has intensified with significant ground and aerial operations, as both nations report substantial drone activities and attacks along the front line.
According to Emirates News Agency , the Russian Ministry of Defence announced a series of strikes targeting facilities in Ukraine. These included a logistics center in the Kyiv region, alleged to store Western military supplies, and a Vodafone data center in Kyiv, claimed to be supporting Ukrainian communications. Additional targets comprised two UAV warehouses in Mykolaiv, a drone logistics site in Odesa, the Ukrainian Navy's Vostok naval base headquarters, a State Border Guard Service base at Kiliia port, and a dry cargo vessel purportedly carrying military goods.
The Russian Ministry also reported that its air defenses had intercepted 96 Ukrainian drones across various Russian regions, including Crimea and the Black Sea.
On the other side, Ukrainian sources, through Ukrinform, disclosed 221 combat engagements within 24 hours. They stated that Ukrainian air defenses successfully neutralized 147 out of 170 Russian drones. The reports also included Russian forces deploying thousands of kamikaze drones and numerous guided aerial bombs, resulting in injuries in Kyiv. Ukrainian forces responded with strikes on Russian command posts, UAV-control centers, artillery systems, and logistics facilities.
