Amman: The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor warned of the gravity of the illegal evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and Mawasi al-Qarara, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, which means imposing more forced displacement and narrowing the space in which nearly two million people are crammed. In a statement on Wednesday, the monitor said that these orders indicate that Israel is continuing to expand its offensive in Deir al-Balah, which is crowded with one million people, most of whom are displaced people from northern and southern Gaza. The monitor stressed that the Israeli army's shrinking of the so-called "humanitarian zone" by targeting large areas of it with illegal evictions, as happened in Mawasi al-Qarara and Deir al-Balah, shows that Israel seeks to cram nearly two million people into a narrow strip and continuously shrink it.
