Expo City Dubai and Live Nation Middle East Unite to Elevate Entertainment and Environmental Initiatives.


Dubai: Expo City Dubai is collaborating with Live Nation Middle East to enhance its live music and entertainment offerings while also promoting environmental action on a global scale. Under this new agreement, Live Nation will relocate its UAE headquarters to Expo City Dubai, setting the stage for joint events and a shared focus on sustainability goals aimed at reducing the environmental impact of events and engaging audiences in climate issues.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership was formalized in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Expo City Dubai Authority. The agreement was signed by Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and CEO of Expo City Dubai Authority, and James Craven, President of Live Nation Middle East. The alliance follows Expo City unveiling its new master plan and the expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Centre, further cementing its status as a major player in the regional events landscape.

As a member of the UAE Al
liance for Climate Action, Live Nation aligns with Expo City Dubai’s sustainability strategy, which includes the ambition to be net zero by 2050 and adherence to sustainable events guidelines. Through Live Nation’s global sustainability platform, Green Nation, the partnership aims to lead climate action by reducing emissions, increasing renewable energy use, cutting waste, and phasing out single-use plastics, while also enhancing sustainable food and transport options.

Amna Abulhoul, Executive Creative Director – Entertainment and Experiences at Expo City Dubai, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the creation of authentic and impactful experiences. She highlighted the potential for this collaboration to bring world-class entertainment to life and leave a lasting impact by inspiring, connecting, and crafting meaningful moments.

James Craven of Live Nation Middle East underscored the importance of the partnership in supporting communities and addressing climate change. He noted that the
collaboration positions Live Nation at the forefront of the region’s events scene, enhancing its ability to deliver entertainment while inspiring meaningful climate action on a global scale.
