Six people from one family died due to the collapse of a house in the village of Shamsan in Al-Khabt District, Al-Mahwit Governorate, as a result of heavy rains. A local source in the district explained that the family members of citizen Hassan Mohammed Al-Daroubi, consisting of the father, mother, three daughters and a child, all died after the roof of their house collapsed in the middle of Friday night due to the heavy rains that have been continuing for days. It pointed out that the civil defense, ambulance and security team went down to the site of the collapsed house immediately after receiving the report and recovered the victims in cooperation with the residents.
