DUBAI: Belarus held off a spirited Senegal side to take all three points in their opening FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup UAE 2024 Dubai match f following a well-deserved 6-4 victory.
An Aleh Hapon hat-trick helped Belarus to victory over their African opponent in their UAE 2024 Dubai opener.
Belarus started the stronger and netted the goal their dominance deserved at the end of the first period when Hapon rifled home a penalty.
Senegal continued to fight and brought the contest level through Amar Samb in the second period, but goals from Bryshtsel, Yury Piatrouski and a further two from Hapon confirmed a well-earned victory for Belarus.
