But Senegal roared back in the second half, only to be silenced by Esleider Avila’s thunderous volley that restored South American control. Senegal never gave up, though, and roared back level before Papa Ndoye and Mandione Diagne scored the goals to secure the win and send Colombia home after a compelling 5-3 victory.
