Doha: Oman and Qatar settled for a goalless draw in their AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to 26 Playoffs Group A tie at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the result leaves both teams with work to do in their quest for automatic qualification. Oman is set to face the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, while the Emiratis will take on Qatar three days later.
Only the group winners will secure automatic qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
