The first International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO), organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), kicked off Monday with the participation of more than 25 countries. The Olympiad, which will continue until Sept.12, contributes to strengthening friendly international relations between technology and software experts and artificial intelligence teachers in various countries, drawing the attention of young people to these modern technologies, and encouraging other countries to organize similar competitions in the future. It also aims to motivate participants to engage in active discussions to explore the various applications of artificial intelligence, and to encourage exceptionally talented young people in this field, which is gaining increasing global interest.
