_: SANA'A July 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Fisheries condemned the blatant attack on the rights and interests of fishermen and the robbery of fish landing centers in Ras Baghshwa in Hadhramaut province. In a statement received by Saba, the Ministry of Fisheries denounced the involvement of UAE-backed forces in imposing their control over this vital site as part of their efforts to militarize fish landing centers in the south of the country without any justification or legal basis, which threatens the livelihoods and lives of fishermen in Hadhramaut. It denounced the manifestations of military mobilization and march towards the Al-Rayyan and Al-Dhabba area, which threatens a dangerous escalation targeting the security situation and the lives of citizens in the province. The statement stressed the immediate cessation of attacks. It stressed that the authorities in Hadramawt province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the mercenary government must confront these plans and protect the inte rests of fishermen and the people of Hadhramaut. The Ministry of Fisheries stressed that it will spare no effort in defending the rights and interests of fishermen, and will work with all concerned authorities to ensure the protection of this vital sector in Hadramaut.
