Torrential rains have caused severe damage in Malhan district of Mahweet province, leading to the destruction of homes and shops, a security source said. A security source in the province informed the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the floods have swept away several citizens' homes and businesses, as a result of the floods and subsequent landslides, 24 individuals are reported missing. The source also reported that seven homes were completely destroyed, along with their residents, and four shops have been affected. Efforts are ongoing to locate and rescue the missing individuals.
