Folk Maritime Enhances Training Programs in Maritime Navigation

Folk Maritime Services Company, owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and a leading operator of regular shipping lines and feeder vessels in the region, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers - Middle East (ICS ME). The agreement, made during the fifth edition of the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress in Dammam, aims to implement specialized training programs in the maritime sector. The Institute will provide specialized training in various areas of maritime navigation for Saudi employees at Folk Maritime, including recent graduates and experienced professionals. This initiative will directly contribute to preparing national competencies with the essential skills and knowledge for effective participation in the maritime industry. ICS ME, supported by Folk Maritime, will lead the development and implementation of the training courses.
